Lucio Zanon is a distinguished Italian entrepreneur with more than 40 years of experience in the international hospitality industry. His journey began in the late 1970s as a bartender at Hotel Cappelli in the Lido of Venice, where he first discovered his passion for hospitality. Driven by a desire to elevate the guest experience, he soon became a professional sommelier at the iconic Cecconi’s Restaurant in London, where he refined his skills and developed a deep understanding of wine and fine dining.
Lucio’s extensive training in luxury hotel and restaurant management paved the way for a remarkable global career. Over the years, he has been instrumental in opening and managing some of the world’s most renowned dining establishments, including:

Lucio’s leadership and commitment to excellence have earned him a reputation for creating memorable culinary experiences that attract a discerning, international clientele. More recently, he managed Casa Tua Miami and Aspen, continuing his tradition of curating elevated dining destinations. He is also the proud co-owner of two celebrated Venetian institutions — Graspo de Ua and Taverna la Fenice — both of which have hosted distinguished guests including U.S. Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, and Italian Presidents Carlo Azeglio Ciampi and Giorgio Napolitano.
Lucio’s latest venture is Tullio, a restaurant he opened with his son, Sebastiano. Named in honor of Lucio’s father and Sebastiano’s grandfather, the restaurant represents a continuation of the family’s rich culinary heritage. Tullio, famously known as the “jeweler of seafood” in Venice, was celebrated at the historic Rialto Fish Market for his expertise and dedication to the finest seafood.
Located on the prestigious Ponce de Leon Boulevard in Coral Gables, Tullio brings this legacy to life, blending traditional Venetian seafood mastery with a modern, sophisticated dining experience. The restaurant is more than a culinary destination — it is a tribute to three generations of passion, excellence, and dedication to the art of hospitality.
