We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalia Rubiano and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natalia, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I was born in Russia and spent a part of my childhood living inside the Imperial Palace of Catherine the Great in Tver. From an early age, I was exposed to history, art and design, having been around my mom and her business of renovating historical buildings. I drew inspiration from many of the historical artifacts found around the Palace and the stories surrounding it. Later on, my mom bought me my first notebook that I used to write in about my days at school and ever since then, writing my story and those of my clients through words, photography, videos and other creative marketing channels have become my career. More than that, it’s really what I love and live to do, so it’s also my life.
What should our readers know about your business?
Grozina is a marketing and public relations firm that works with a select number of U.S. and international clients in the real estate, aviation, manufacturing, finance and construction industries, as well as holding several government contracts across the U.S.
Behind Grozina is a logo of a palm leaf that stands for perseverance, like that of a palm tree whose roots grow stronger as it faces hurricane winds. Like the palm tree that has learned to bend and not break, we use a similar approach to navigate storms of all kinds, for our clients.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Eat – Dim Sum lunch at the Hakkasan
Drink – A jalapeño margarita on the beach or Schnebly’s Redland Winery because their tropical wine is exclusive to Florida
Relax – The Setai
Visit – Go snorkeling
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The list is long, but most importantly – my son, who’s 5 with strong opinions about my business and everything in between and my mom, for unconditional love.
