CASE STUDY: Turning iRenovations into iBristles, A Corporate Rebranding

BACKGROUND:

Ignacio Rubiano operated iRenovations, a high-end interior and faux finish painting company in Palm Beach. However, Rubiano felt that his company’s name and logo were not effectively communicating his company’s expertise and modern approach to interior design. He approached us to rename his business and redesign its logo to better reflect his offerings.

CHALLENGE:

The task was to rename the business and design a logo that would successfully portray the company as an expert in high-end interior design and faux painting. The logo needed to resonate with the existing clientele – homeowners and apartment communities – and appeal to new potential customers. We also created promotional items that stood out from those typically distributed within the industry.

PROCESS:

After thorough market research, we landed on the name iBristles. We developed a logo that evoked the coastal areas in which iBristles operated – incorporating blues and whites, alongside an image of a brush symbolizing the company’s area of expertise. For a contemporary feel, we used a sleek, sans-serif font. To enhance branding, we designed a unique promotional item – a branded paintbrush.

RESULTS:

After implementing these changes, iBristles saw a significant improvement in its sales and customer satisfaction ratings. The business was able to attract new customers and retain existing ones, leading to an increase in revenue. Employee turnover also decreased, resulting in a more positive work environment.

IMPACT:

The renaming and rebranding exercise had an enormous impact on both the external image and internal environment of the company. The external branding strategies bolstered iBristles’ reputation and instilled loyalty amongst customers, thereby augmenting the financial success of the company. Internally, by fostering a stable and supportive work environment, the changes contributed to enhanced employee satisfaction and productivity.
