Ignacio Rubiano is the mastermind behind many of Palm Beach’s most beautiful private residences and public spaces, including the Breakers Hotel. Assigned to assist international artists to renovate the hotel’s major ballroom ceilings and dining halls, pictures of the hotel’s iconic and intricately painted ceilings still remain today.

The hand-painted frescoes on the double-vaulted ceiling are inspired by the Great Hall at the 16th-century Palazzo Carrega in Genoa and serves as the entrance for the historic Beaux-Arts hotel that was once a favorite of the Vanderbilts, the Astors and the Rockefellers.
